Who you are booking with
The Esedra, Brancaccio and Laterano homes in Rome are managed and let by DOLCE DOMUS S.R.L.S. ("DolceDomus"). For anything before, during or after your stay write to info@dolcedomusroma.com or call +39 329 1111 357.
What you are booking
An entire furnished apartment for a short holiday stay, without hotel services. The price covers the whole apartment for the number of guests stated in the booking: extra guests are not allowed unless agreed in writing.
How the contract is made
Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email with the dates, the address and the summary of amounts. Whoever books must be of age and is responsible for all the guests listed.
Prices and tourist tax
Prices are in euro and refer to the stay shown in the summary. The City of Rome tourist tax is due separately, per person per night at the rate in force and with the exemptions set by the city rules: it is always shown as a separate line and you can pay it online or on arrival.
Payments
Payment is by card through Viva.com: card details travel on the payment platform, we never see or store them. You can pay in full when booking, or pay a deposit equal to the first two nights and the balance before arrival, using the payment link we send you. If arrival is less than 7 days away, the booking is paid in full straight away.
How the service is delivered
There is nothing to ship: the service is the stay on the dates booked. Right after payment you receive the confirmation email with the link to manage your booking; before arrival we send the address, the access instructions and the contacts for assistance. Check-in and check-out times are those stated in the confirmation.
Cancellations and refunds
Up to 30 days before arrival cancellation is free and we refund everything. Between 30 and 7 days before arrival we keep the first two nights. From 7 days before arrival onwards, and in case of no-show, there is no refund. Refunds go back to the same payment method, within 14 days of the cancellation.
Right of withdrawal
For accommodation services to be provided on a specific date, the law excludes the 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code). The cancellation terms above apply instead.
Guest obligations
At check-in we record an ID document for every guest: this is a legal duty towards the Italian Police and we cannot waive it. Parties are not allowed, smoking inside the apartments is forbidden, and any damage is charged to whoever booked.
Complaints and applicable law
For any problem write to info@dolcedomusroma.com: we always look for a direct solution. Italian law applies to the contract; if you are a consumer the court of your place of residence remains competent and you may use the European online dispute resolution platform.
