ZTL — Limited Traffic Zone
The apartment is in the heart of Rome, inside the Centro Storico ZTL. The gates are active (no unauthorised access) on weekdays from 6:30 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 2 pm to 6 pm: in short, you can drive in freely after 6 pm, on Saturday mornings, on Sundays and on public holidays. On Friday and Saturday nights (11 pm–3 am) a night-time ZTL may be in force.
🚫 Street parking is not possible inside the ZTL.

The out-of-ZTL alternative: Parking Esedra
When the gates are active and you can't enter the ZTL, park here: Parking Esedra (Via Modena 10, open 24 hours) is 250 metres away, OUTSIDE the gates, and you reach it from Piazza San Bernardo without crossing any. List prices are about €5 above our garage rates.
